GCC Strategy & Setup
Define the mandate, the operating thesis, and the leanest path to standing up — including the Nano-GCC model: a 20–100 seat pilot, leased and live in weeks, that proves the case before you commit to a campus.
Global Capability Center Advisory
Bhat Advisory helps global companies locate, design, and stand up engineering, analytics, and AI-delivery centers — led by an operator who has built them from the inside, not drawn them on a slide.
The Moment
These are no longer back-offices. The world’s leading firms run their core engineering, analytics, and AI work out of global capability centers — and the buyer is increasingly the European mid-market, not just the Fortune 500.
The question is no longer whether to build one. It is where, and how fast.

Services
A focused practice built around the decisions that make or break a capability center. We start with the mandate, not the real estate.
Define the mandate, the operating thesis, and the leanest path to standing up — including the Nano-GCC model: a 20–100 seat pilot, leased and live in weeks, that proves the case before you commit to a campus.
Evidence-led location strategy across the levers that actually move the model — talent depth, cost, power, connectivity, and incentives. We benchmark candidate geographies and de-risk the choice before capital is committed.
Org design, delivery model, and the governance and metrics that keep a center accountable to the parent — so it grows into a strategic asset, not a drifting cost island a continent away.
How we work
Specific and testable beats big and vague. Every phase has an exit criterion you can hold us to.
Mandate, location thesis, and the business case. Candidate geographies benchmarked on talent, cost, power, and connectivity — not on brochures.
Site decision locked, entity and operating model designed, talent pipeline opened, first leadership hires made. The center moves from plan to premises.
Pilot center live and delivering, the model validated against real work, and a playbook documented so the next center is faster than the first.
The differentiator
The Nano-GCC model inverts the old playbook. Instead of an 18-month campus build, you stand up a 20–100 seat pilot — fully leased, locally hired, live in weeks. Each successful pilot is a reference; ten references earn the larger center. You don’t start big. You start smart.
The Practice
Bhat Advisory is the practice of Suhail Bhat — a capability-center operator, not a career consultant. Kashmiri, based in Berlin, he is a Senior Engineering Manager at Volkswagen AG, leading a 35-person cross-functional unit across Germany, India, Portugal and Spain.
He helped write the founding blueprint for a global manufacturer’s capability center in India, scouted and piloted early-stage startups at a corporate innovation hub, and now directs a global AI delivery-transformation program. The firm brings that operator’s view to companies building what he has already built.
Signature Initiative
A pro-bono initiative to make Jammu & Kashmir India’s first green-and-secure, AI-era delivery hub — applying the Nano-GCC model where green hydropower, lower cost, and untapped talent meet. It is the firm’s thinking, built in public, at home.
Let’s talk
Pressure-test the thinking. If it’s useful, we’ll shape the plan together — where to build, how lean to start, and what the first pilot needs to prove.
